The weather guys/gals had been predicting some cold, wet, wintry mix for the last few days. Ever the skeptic, I was glad to the some icy stuff on the windshield when I walked out of church at noon. It's now a little before 3:00 in the afternoon, it's snowing big time.
Snow + ice on road = a strong possibility of no work tomorrow! Woo hoo!!
Snow + ice on road + no work tomorrow = an extra day of work in June. Boo hoo.
Husband + him leaving at 5:00 a.m. to visit nether reaches of stake = Husband will be home early. Woo hoo!
Husband + him visiting the nether reaches of stake + ice on roads + snowing like Utah in Texas = a very worried wife.
Did you know it snows in Texas? Most people don't realize this. Sure we don't experience snowmageddon like much of the U.S. but three inches might as well be thirty when you're not used to it. It's been awhile since I've lived in snow country, although, after last year's snow fall and then again this year's, I may have to once again say I live in snow country...nah, that'd be stretching things a might.
Killer's goal writing incident + Husband's advice on how to run without stopping = 1.8 miles of more running than walking WOO HOO!!!
1.8 miles of more running than walking + organizing office area = finding a $40.00 Crate and Barrel gift card = a GIVEAWAY to celebrate an accomplishment!!!
Here's to a day off tomorrow, possibly, Husband and his travel buddies making it home safely, and hoping you have more good news than bad this coming week.
